Pic of the Day: Amsterdam’s Canals

Amsterdam is perhaps best recognized by its canals – it has more than 100 kilometers (62 miles) of them – that make concentric rings around the city.

    Despite the 62 miles of canals large and small, this particular scene draws the eye. I’ve got a similar shot in a couple of seasons (we live in The Hague). While initially you think it looks the same, there is always some little detail or two that differs, drawing the eye and making it fresh. Thank you
